Headteacher's Welcome

A warm welcome to the Henbury View First School website. I am delighted that you are browsing through our website to get a glimpse of our vibrant school. There is something very special about Henbury View and we are incredibly proud of our unique surroundings, where pupils, staff, governors, parents and the school community work extremely hard and have high expectations of each other.  Our children are at the heart of our school, we strive to build good, honest relationships with all our children, parents and carers.

At Henbury View, we treat each child as an individual. We believe that in order to enable our pupils to learn effectively, they need to have their uniqueness recognised and valued, feel safe in their environment and have the oral, social and emotional literacy skills to support them with the demands of life. We are committed to ensuring that our children are 'Respectful, Happy Learners' through encouraging them to have an appetite to gain skills, knowledge and understanding.
